Time Sweeps
From the Times Building 1905

Panorama films were popular in the early days of motion pictures.  I made these images by joining captures from an mpeg file downloaded from the Library of Congress.  The original movie and more information about it can be found at this link.  And here you can see a picture of Times Building as it was.  Click the image below for a sweeping picture from Times Square to Bryant Park made by merging 32 frames from the original film by Wallace McCutcheon.
