Journeys of Jesus Tour

This tour was made for use with Google Earth, a free and very cool program distributed by Google.  Once Google Earth is installed, download, then open the Jesus Tour file below, then play the tour.   To play, open the folder and use the "Tools->Play Tour" menu option or just look for the Play/Stop buttons beneath the "Places" listings on the left. 

They look like these non-working buttons: 

It might be worth your time to adjust the settings on Google Earth.  Select and deselect borders and points of interest.  Minimizing the extras will speed up the image processing.  During play you can pause to zoom and explore the various regions then press the play button to continue.

The Jesus tour is fun to experience, but the download might not work with Macs.  Let me know if anyone has suggestions for using Google Earth .klm files with Macs and I'll post them.  Thanks.   alm ed

Editor's Notes


Master Universe Almanac is a reference for revelation students.  It is derived from The Urantia Book.  It is not The Urantia Book.

If there is a difference between what is here and what is in the Urantia Papers, side with the papers and please let the editor know.

The use of tables goes back at least to Assyrian times, perhaps back to Dalamatia.  The authors of the Urantia Papers included tables directly and suggested other tables and lists in the text. 

The almanac's mission is to present a collection of tables and charts describing matter, mind, spirit, and personality throughout the master universe.

Master Universe Almanac is not affiliated with the Urantia Foundation.  Almanac references link to the Foundation's online version of The Urantia Book.  The Foundation supports translations and other projects.

Newest entries are marked with indicators like this «.  Throughout the almanac, editor's notes are in GREY.

Updates
 

8/23/2008  The number of tables is up to around 75.  Added quite a few tables from Parts Three and Four.  Quotes & Images now holds an entry on the Banner of Michael.  Also new - Reader Comments.

8/3/2008  Added several tables for Part III and The Evolutionary Panorama in Quotes & Images.

7/28/2008  Fixed huge error in the Part 3 table The Seven Bestowals of Michael.  Changed several entries from thousands to millions.  The bestowals were "about one hundred and fifty million years apart." 

The almanac needs sleuths to track down tables and lists in the Urantia Book and farmers to weed out errors in the almanac.  The mailbox is always open:

7/13/2008  New table added holding a theory about the number of worlds in the seven Havona circuits.  The numbers are in grey because evolutionary mortal Mark Underwood discovered it using revealed hints.

The almanac now holds a section entitled Quotes & Images.  These pages show passages from the UB and associated images and films from the Internet.  Though it is mostly astronomical now, it could also become archaeological. 

Thanks to those who've contributed to this almanac in various ways. 

3/17/2008  Fixed flaw in Internet Explorer version of site that added inappropriate blue borders to the top and bottom of some tables.

Whoever you are, thank you for producing such a great website to help us learn the complicated, multi-layered information in the Urantia Book.

It is the best thing I have found to explain it.  I put this book down 19 years ago because it just overwhelmed me, and I was already burned out by the New Age side-trip.  Now it’s coming back to my attention in a whole new context, and I know I must tackle it.  Onward through the fog! (of my brain and all this info!)...

Thank you again for this great service you have provided.  I believe soon the day may come when we will all be looking for a crash course in the Urantia Book.  We will of necessity seek understanding of our place in the Universe, embrace the fact that a friendly, organized Universe exists outside our planet, and question where we fit in it an what our goals should/could be.  

Your website will be a shining beacon and guide for all those seekers.  I know it is for me.
